Finally, we meandered south back to our block and stumbled into the Tuck Shop - the Australian Meat Pie place I mentioned on Friday.
A feast ensued, and we were too hungry to get photos. But it included 2 pies - one Mac and Cheese, the other chicken, leek, and ham. 1 sausage roll. 1 order of herbaceous potato salad and 1 order of brussels sprouts. And a few beers too.
We were also ecstatic to learn that a pie we had suggested would be put on the menu for monday - Buffalo chicken pie. I’ve already scheduled it into my VERY busy day of being (f)unemployed.
For now, we’re off to Coney Island for some fun. Happy Sunday!
