Jessica wanted to capture the ambiance of the evening with this photo. As previously noted, the classier folks are enjoying House Wine - a red blend. While I’m enjoying the best Irish whiskey there is - Powers Gold Label. The pictured brussels sprouts are from the Australian Meat Pie place next door - Tuck Shop. Someday I will post about the wonderous delites they create. I’ve tried to recreate these sprouts and have failed. Maybe tonight I’ll stop in and ask about them.
We’ve got our very dear friend Becca over for dinner - so we’re making an evening out of it. Wish you were here too.
Also of note - the Ipod on speaker is playing Billie Holiday. Don’t be phased. In 10 minutes we’ll be playing drinking games and listening to Jay-Z. I’m only 25, for God’s sake. I got 99 problems, but a shortage of good food ain’t one. HA.
