Look! It’s my first picture. And it’s so boring.
This is what I have nearly everyday for lunch. Unless there’s leftovers. And trust me - if you’ve seen my waistline lately, you’d understand why there are no leftovers. But anyways ….
Sandwich and cottage cheese. Usually turkey. This week it’s ham. Dijon on both sides (I have an aversion to mayo), muenster cheese, lettuce, salt and pepper. Side of cottage cheese with an emphasis on the pepper.
This isn’t revolutionary, I know. But my reason for posting is to ask this question - How did sandwiches get the corner on the lunch market? For as long as I can remember, sandwiches are the go to meal.  They’re easy, they’re quick and they’re safe.  Anyone have a hypothesis on why?  And what else do you eat that’s eaasy, quick and safe?
I’m off to devour this thing and prepare for banana bread.
